Remarks

"One of Alexander's most popular models... the 42 Sedan is a well-proportioned family cruiser with a sensible layout and a fairly conservative profile. Like most Ocean Alexander designs, the 42 was built on an easy-riding modified-V hull with a shallow keel and cored hullsides. A very appealing feature of the 42 Sedan is her large cockpit which provides a good deal of open-air entertaining space for family and guests. Her interior is quite innovative in that a second (guest) stateroom with twin beds is fitted below the elevated galley. Visibility from the lower helm is very good, and most 42 Sedans were delivered with a full teak interior..."
